I have been in Real Estate for almost 30 years in December. With the economy the way it is I have been doing BPO’s for several companies and would like to get involved with this. Let me know what I need to do. I am not a beginner and am very aware of what you will be needing. Thanks, Barbara Larson

Need more information. Too many scams out there trying to make us believe we need more credentials to list REO’s.
Most of the agents that are still in the business could do REO’s better. The agents that have most of them listed now are so over whelmed they don’t represent the properties in the MLS properly with pictures,lock boxes that work, etc.
Give the real agents a chance and we can run circles around the assigned asset managers at Selling Homes.

I have done so many short sales and closed them too. I have not done any REO’s. I’m interested in attending REO and BPO seminars and wanted to know the difference in working short sale and REO listings.
I agree with the comments made by the real estate agents above.
My husband is my broker and we have been in the real estate profession for over 28 years in California. We have the knowledge and the experience of real estate transactions and what it entails. There are a lot of scams regarding REO and BPO training. We would be interested in hearing from you since we are serious in servicing these foreclosures and would like to get started ASAP.

Does this program teach us how to perform a bpo?
I’m a BPO Agent in San Diego County, California and would like more information how to REALLY get into the REO Business. There are too many scams out there and I’ve fallen for a few already without a single listing.

Elvie, with a short sale, the house is still owned by the the home owner. An REO is a property that the bank took back from an owner and now the bank is the owner trying to sell it. We do not have that much info on seminars. We list home courses on the Product Review Page.
